Mike Badia runs Holbrook Power

Mike Badia runs a 632 cube Merlin Aluminum Block with Dart pro 1 Big Chief Heads pushing the power through a Bruno drive 3 spd Lenco trans in his Jerry Haas built 96 Cutlass Top Sportsman Car. Mike's best time with the car is a 6.81 at 207 mph.

At the IHRA Nationals last week, Mike qualified 18th. Unfortuntely Mike had to run another Holbrook customer Glenn Butcher in the second round. Mike was taken out by a red light.

The IHRA had their division 3 race the next weekend. Most racers left their rigs there during the week. It sure helped with the fuel cost for the racers. Mike went to the Semi finals on Saturday and on Sunday Mike was .002 early on the tree and got eliminated in the first round.
